Grow Wānaka is a community garden and food hub supporting regional food resiliency.
They grow nutritious kai for the community, divert food scraps from landfill and use them to build healthy soil, and educate and support passionate gardeners of all levels through workshops and hands-on growing experience.
Join the Grow team for a morning working bee and stay for a shared pot luck lunch to celebrate another amazing year of mahi.
What to bring:
– A plate to share or something for the BBQ
– A camp chair and cutlery (if you have them!)
– A hat, sunscreen and water bottle
– Gardening gloves
