Native Plant Propagation Workshops with Te Kākano

Workshop 1 – Seed Propagation

April 01, 5.30-7.30pm at the Mt Aspiring Lookout carpark (just before Glendhu Bay)

We will show you a range of native plants and their seeds, and teach you how to propagate them. Each seed needs a different process to ensure germination and successful growing.

Workshop 2 – Cutting Propagation

April 18, 5-7pm at Te Kākano nursery (directions here)

You will learn how to propagate plants from cuttings. You will get to leave with your own cuttings to grow plants at home.
