Queer Quarterly Read’s mission is to promote queer literature while encouraging a supportive atmosphere for local queer individuals and allies in the familiar setting of a local library.
Queer Quarterly Reads is held four times a year at the Wānaka Library. Reading of the featured novel is recommended but not vital to enjoy the discussion as we will discuss and draw on the queer cannon as a whole. The event is designed for anyone, no matter your gender or sexuality.
Join us on 2 April to discuss queer themes within New Zealand Non-Fiction. Our featured book for this session will be Untouchable Girls by Jools Topp and Lynda Topp.
Free to attend | Bookings required | 18yrs+
