One of their most popular features is the garden, where you will not only find hammocks and couches to soak up the sun, but fresh herbs and home grown vegetables to enjoy. There is also a BBQ.
Dorms are mixed; 3 x four share dorms in one building and 2 x 6 share, 1 x 5 share and the private room in the back building. Each bed features a night light, power outlet, and a basket or side table for your belongings. You’ll also find a cozy duvet, pillow, and bottom sheet. Towels are available upon request. All rooms are equipped with heaters for winter and fans for summer. Lockable lockers are found either in each room or in the hallway close to the bedroom. Each building has its own bathroom facilities.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, refrigerators, freezers, toasters, kettles, a pizza stone, a toasted sandwich maker, a waffle maker, a yogurt maker, microwaves, and air fryer ovens. Laundry facilities are available daily after 2 PM for $4 per wash and $4 for dryer use. There is a clothesline for sunny days.
The lounge features a large TV, Chromecast, hundreds of DVDs, and a variety of games (including Catan), puzzles, arts and crafts supplies, and a complete bookshelf to explore. In winter, the large gas fireplace is a favorite gathering spot.
Resident cats, Buddy and Kiera, are often found sleeping on the couch or relaxing in the sun.
There are CCTV security cameras and a key only entry when reception is closed.
