Look no further than On The Rocks, if you’re looking for the next perfect place to call home while holidaying in Wanaka. This stylish home-away-from-home is spacious, with two living areas and four great-sized bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom. While the children hide away in the separate media room to watch a movie, the bright-open planned living area is a great place for the adults to sit down with a local Pinot Noir and reflect on the day, watching the sun set behind the mountains. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a perfect space to cook up a feast. Then relax and enjoy around the large dining table. Or open up the sliding doors to the patio and enjoy a barbecue around the outdoor picnic table, if the weather is warm.
On The Rocks is situated an easy drive into Wanaka town centre, and just moments from lake. Simply drive down to the lake with the kayaks and get out on the water for a paddle. Or hop on your bike and within a few minutes you’ll be by the lake, with the tracks & trails right there to enjoy. It’s certainly a great option for outdoor activities! Especially if you’re into mountain biking, access to the Sticky Forest mountain bike trails are right on your doorstep.
All four bedrooms a good size, with plenty of clothing storage and each with their own tiled ensuite bathroom. For the winter months, there is a drying room for your ski or snowboard boots, plus a double garage to store skis, snowboards, jetskis or any other toys you may bring along. The minimum stay requirement at On The Rocks is 4 nights.
