Whatever the special reason or season, Wanaka Homestead customarily welcomes wedding parties, outdoor adventure seekers, food & wine enthusiasts, well-being warriors, sports groups, business conference guests and fans of vintage planes, trains, and automobiles.
Multi-generational family reunions, holiday get togethers with friends, intimate weddings and significant birthdays have also graced our doorstep.
Wanaka Homestead is situated in an idyllic location nestled directly across from Station Park, once home to the town’s original Homestead (the New Zealand term for farmhouse), now a popular wedding venue. The Park’s expansive lawns and towering redwoods will lead you down to the lake and the start of seemingly endless and stunningly beautiful walking and biking tracks. They are the closest accommodation to the Wānaka Tree.
